Boots arc being shined and horses groomed for the Rappahannock Hunt and Hazel m e re Hounds’ Hunter Trials, to be held Saturday, October 22 at the Culpeper Horse Show Grounds. The nine classes planned will include the colorful junior Drag, the only one of its kind at any Virginia .Horse Show. The Junior Drag will follow the Hazel me re Hounds over the outside course and part of the steeplechase course. Other classes are Local Hunters (Rappahannock and Hazelmere); Lightweight Hunters; Ladies Hunters; Heavy and Middleweiight Hunters; Juniors Under 12; Juniors Under 18; Hunt Teams and Handy Hunters. / -
Judges for the trials include Mrs. Frances Bidstrup, Middleburg; Major Andrew Montgomery, MFH of the Rapidan Hunt; and Colonel J. C. Kendall of Warrenton.
