H. D. Work is world-wide. “Country Women of the World” was organized in 1930 for the.purpose of promoting a better understanding among all Homemaker’s organizations of all nations. One of its aims is to stimulate interest in the international aspects of rural life and development. What a valuable organization to have’ in these days of international tensions and misunderstandings! It is financed by annual dues from the constituent societies and “Pennies for Friendship” (collected each year from H. D. members' ahd sent to the county treasury to forward.
From the international we come to the national level with the - “Council of Country Women” composed of the constituent 'societies. of the international organization, ini the Uunted States of ‘America. Its aims are to bring these societies into closer relationships and to further the aims of the “Association of Country Women of the World.”
