Right now, the poultry industry is selling nearly 18 per cent more broilers than last year at prices 10 per cent above last year, indicating
continued strong demand and probably some storage buying. The only real dark Spot is] the continuing rise in eggs set. Week before last, they reached 27 I per cent above last year. Some chick cancellations are coming in, which may reverse the trend, but there will still be a whole lot of broilers by the end of December and I on through January.
