Corn earworm infestations anddamage to soybeans seem to hav£ dropped considerably, but farmer* are advised to keep on'the alert for another brood of larvae that may yet damage the late crop.
Arthur P. Morris, associate enj tomologist at VPI, says corn earworms continue numerous on snap and lima bean crops in eastern areas, and are present to a lesser extent on peppers.
