Mis* Hilda Brown, Mr*. W. A. Gentry and Ray Cannon attended the National Convention of Postmasters held recently in Detroiit. Mrs. Gentry and Miss Hilda Brown of Boston were invited to make tape recorded statements about their post offices and com* * munities. These wifi be broadcast some time Saturday, October 22 on the Monitor program. TTie exact hour could not be determined at the time the recording was made. Postmasters from Fort Worth. Texas, Nashville, Tennessee, Pottstown, Penn., and six other* from other states were asked to participate. They represented offices of all four classes. About 3500 postmasters attended this convention. Ray Cannon of Castleton was the other postmaster f^om - Rappahannock County to attend.
