Horse Van Overturns
On Icy Road
A van owned by J. W. Fletcher, Thornton Hill Farm, Sperryville, which was carrying five horses from the meet of Rappahannock Hunt Club Saturday afternoon, overturned on an icy curve at Haywood. Two of the animals received cuts and wer« given emergency treatment by Dr, W. L, Wake of Harrisonburg who had been riding with the hunt. The driver of the truck, Moody Aylor, also of Sperryville, was not injured.

Annual Dances
Flint Hill Fire Company has begun its annual series of winter dances The first dance will be on Friday, Dec. 15 at the fire hall beginning at 9 p.m. The Rhythm Ramblers will furnish the music. Admission is $1.25 per person.
A second dance will be held Dec. 29 and others will be announced at a later date.
