The Alexandria Social Security Office suggests two things to people who expect to work during the Christmas rush season, said Stanley B Earl, District Manager. ONE: Obtain a social security card from their social security oft fice if they do not have one. TWO: When applying for the job, show the social security account number card to the new employer, so that he may enter the correct name and social security number on his payroll records.
Alexandria area residents may get a social security card by applying at the district office located at 825 South Washington St., Alexandria. Persons living outside the Alexandria area may get an application form at the nearest post office.
