“Do I look O.K.? Does my hair look all right?" These words were said over and over on Monday, December 4 as the students at RCHS posed for their school pictures. Most of the pictures were successfully taken, though Mr. Lemley, the photographer from Stephens City, will have to return later for some more group pictures and retakes. Many photographs will be needed for the annual that is in the layout stages. The boys did look handsome ini their white shirts, coats and ties I! The school spirit is noticably improved. At least part of the credit for this may be given to the cheerleaders and their sponsor, Mrs. Wilbur. Two Pep Rallys have been held and more are planned. Students have been cooperative in learning the cheers and putting forth at rallys Jnd games, which has in turn greatly improved school spirit and general atmosphere.
The basketball season is well under way, and so far our record is not good, but lets be progressive and look ahead to future victories.
The Varsity Club is busy making money by selling drinks and hot dogs at half-time and between games during the home basketball season.
Report cards were received by students last week. Some joyously; some not so.
Juniors at RCHS have two good reasons for contentment: 1treated
specimens, but, in the case of the sarcoma, cured from 10 to 60 per cent of the animals. Only an occasional mouse with breast cancer was cured by the combination, the scientists reported.
