Sealed Bids Taken on Rug
Trinity Episcopal Church has for sale an 11 x 26 wine colored Olsen rug. It was announced that bids should be sent to Mrs. W. A. Miller. However, she received three oral bids, the two highest being identical. Mrs. Miller now requests that bids be sent in a sealed envelope marked “Rug Bids” to Mrs. C. T. Bruce, care of Rappahannock National Bank. On October 28th at 10:30 A.M. the bids will be opened and the rug will go to the highest bidder. If anyone bidding on the rug wishes to be present when the bids are opened they are welcome to do so.
