The beauty contest Is the first activity sponsored by the Washington Fire Com. pany in connection with their Carnival on June 26, 27, 28 and 29th. Miss Rappahannock will be Grand Marshall of the Carnival Parade in June and will be attended by runners up in the class. Miss Hampton District will preside as Queen of the Carnival Parade and will be the honorary fire chief in the firemen's parade at the Apple Blossom festival in Winchester in May. Further information may be obtained from either of a, the co-chairmen of the beauty contest, Mrs. T. Morgan Johnston or Mrs. George Hi Davis, Jr, Other committee* and plans will be announced next week. It might be wise for sponsors to start contacting the entrants of their choice now.
