Snowden C. Williams

Snowden Colman Williams, 60, of Front Royal, died Sunday, March 24, 1963 in Warren Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for eight days.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from Willis Chapel Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. James B. Grimmer officiated.

Pallbearers were Robert Sisk, Charles D. Williams, Linwood Williams, Tom Chadwell, Owen Sealock and Fred Harris. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gurnie Shiflett Williams of Front Royal; two sons, Charles Dennis and Edward E. of Front Royal; four daughters, Mrs. Ashby Ritenour, Front Royal, Mrs. Elizabeth Scott, Amissville, Mrs. Edward Jones, Browntown, and Mrs. Grafton Brink low of Washington, Va.; and 19 grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Johnnie Williams of Front Royal and Wilson Williams of Huntly; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Campbell of Huntly. He was a native of Rappahannock County and a son 'of Harvey Colrrian Williams and Martha Costello Williams.
