Attention all 8elf-employed persons! The time is rapidly approaching when people will start working on their 1962 income tax returns. The ‘Social Security Administration is interested that every one gets credit for his earnings from self-, employment. The only way your earnings can be properly credited to your social security account is by your account number. Be sure to enter your number in the proper place on your Schedule C or Schedule F for* farm income. It is very important that you receive all of your earnings credits since your social security benefits are based on your earnings record. If you do not have a social security number or have lost your card, contact your local social security district office. They will be glad to assist you in getting your number. Applications for social security account numbers are also available at your post office. Don’t put it off — act now and have your number on hand when you need it.
