Pursuant to the provisions of a certain deed of trust executed by Lucy H. Wood, widow of Charles Dudley Wood, Deceased, and Charles B. Wood and Margaret C. Wood, his wife, B. J. Wood and Lucy D. Wood, his wife, John D. Wood and Mary R. Wood, his wife, and Nellie R. Wood to T. Russell Cather and Clifford D. Grim, Trustees, dated September 30, 1941, and recorded December 4, 1941, in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, in Deed Book 43, page 483, to secure the payment of a debt therein described, default having been made in the payment of said debt and at the request of the legal holder thereof (the debt and obligations secured by said deed of trust having been declared by the holder to be due and payable), the undersigned, James W. Fletcher, (who was substituted in the place and stead of T. Russell Cather and Clifford D. Grim, deceased trustees, by order of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, entered on February 1, 1983, and recorded in Chancery Order Book No. 11, page 133), having been requested to act by the holder of said obligations, will offer for sale at public auction, to the highest bidder or bidders, at the front door of the Court House of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Washington, Virginia, on MONDAY, APRIL 8. 1963, at ten O’Clock A.M. (E.S.T. i the following described property, to-wit:
AH that certain tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Wakefield Magisterial District, Rappahannock County, Virginia, about Vi mile north of the Village of Flint Hill, located on the west side of State Route No. 522, leading from Flint Hill to Front Royal, known as “Sunny Slope Farm,” containing 161.37 acres, more or less, improved by a dwelling house and other buildings. The tract and parcel of land herein described is the property assigned to the said Lucy H. Wood in a certain deed of partition between Eliza R. Wood, Lucy H. Wood and others, dated December 30, 1931, and duly recorded in the Clerk’s Office aforesaid in Deed Book 36, at page 449, to which deed and the references therein made a reference is here made for a more particular description of the property hereby conveyed.
TERMS OF SALE:
C**h on day of sale. Balance in two equal annual installments tp be evidenced by the bonds of the purchaser secured by a deed of trust on the property and adequate fire insurance on the buildings on the premises to be required.
