Mary Peachey Lyne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Lyne, has just completed the Medical Secretarial Course at Strayer Junior College of Finance, Washington, D. C. Graduation exercises will be held in July. Miss Lyne was named to the honor roll several times while attending Strayer. She graduated from Rappahannock County High School in 1960, where she was president of SCA, president of her junior class, and secretary of her senior class. She was also president of the 4-H County Council, president of her 4-H club, and a member of the 4-H Honor Club. She received a number of medals for her outstanding work in this club.

Miss Kathy Laing has been selected as Miss Future Business Leader of Longwood College.
Kathy, a junior business education major, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Laing Jr. of Warrenton, and is a graduate of Warrenton High School. Kathy is a member of Student Education Association and Pi Omega Pi and treasurer of Zeta Tau Alpha.

Mr. and Mrs. Cletus T. Stover of Amissville announce the mar| yiage of their daughter Joan Elizabeth to James Leroy Whies, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Wines of Warrenton.
The ceremony was performed py Rev. Ralph Stalter at the Amissville Methodist Church at 7 o’clock Friday evening, March 1.
The bride was attended by Miss Carol Colvin of Jeffersonton. Robert L. Wines, the groom’s brother, was best man.
The couple are presently residing in Amissville.
