VIRGINIA: ' | The nomination of the candidate of the Democratic Party for the office of member of the Senate of Virginia from the Twenty-Third Senatorial District, comprised of the Counties of Page, Rappahannock, Rockingham, WarTen and the City of Harrisonburg, to be voted on in the general election to be held in eaid Senatorial District on November 5, 1963, shall be by direct primary method and a primary for the nomination of the said Democratic candidate for said office shall be held on July 9, 1963, pursuant to the provisions of the State Primary Laws and all candidates for said office shall file their declaration of candidacy with Ralph J. Davis, Chairman of the Senatorial District Committee for the Counties of Page, Rappahannock, Rockingham, Warren hnd the City of Harrisonburg, at Lbray, Virginia, at least 90,days before the said primary to be held on July 9, 1963, and if not more than one candidate files for said position, he shall be declared the Democratic nominee of the party for the Senate of Virginia from the aforesaid District.
