"Keys To Better Living" is the theme for commencement exercises to be held \ at Washington Elementary School Monday evening, June * 3, 1963 at 7:30 p. m. EDT in the school auditorium. Student speakers will be Darlene Woodard whose sub. ject is "Key To Physical Fitness; James Brown, Keys To Kindness;Ronald Dodson, Key To Cooperation and Dede Munro, Key To ResponBlblllty. , Certificates will be presented to the more than twenty graduates by Mr. O. . A. Norton, Superintendent of Schools. v The Rev. John B. Hodge Of Amlssvllle will be in charge of devotions. u3l Commencement exercises for the approximately fiftyfive seventh grade students of Sperryville Elementary School will be held Wednes- > day, June S, 1963 at 8 p. m. In the school auditorium. Diplomas will be presented the graduates by Mr. James ' Eavey, Director of Instruction for Rappahannock and ' Warren counties. Mr. H. B. Winfrey, principal of the local high school, will welcome the students to the high school for the coming year. Mr. I. R. Kilby, member of the School Board from Piedmont District will make a short talk.
Rappahannock schools close June 7, however students do not go to school on June 6 since it is a work day for the teachers. They go back on Friday the 7th to receive report cards.
