spent the week-end at their farm “Monterrain*. Mrs. Claude Gaines is at her home here, recuperating from an illness. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schaeffer of Sperryville spent Sunday afternoon as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart H. Butler. On Tuesday Mr. and Mrs. Butler attended the funeral of Mrs. Roy E. Butler, who formerly lived in Front Royal. Burial was in Arlington Cemetery.
