Mrs. T. C. Lea, Jr. and children spent several days this week with her mother Mrs. T. D. Howie in Staunton. - The Rappahannock Rescue Squad Ambulance driven by Edward Clark and the Award Car which is to be given away at the Firemen’s Carnival driven by Frank Louckes participated in the parade at the Firemen's Carnival last Thursday night in Culpeper. Among others attending the Parade were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brock, Miss Carolyn Johnston, Miss Brenda Nalls, and Tommie Brock. Pfc. and Mrs. Charles Hackley of Fort Sill, Okla., Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jacobs of Amissville and Mr. and Mrs, Willie Payne were Wednesday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Fincham. Miss Ikuko Sakata of Kobe, Japan, a student at Emory and Henry College arrived Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. where she will be a guest until June 9th when she returns for the summer session at Emory and Henry. Mrs. Robert Brock was in Washington, D.
