In a letter to Mrs. Cary, Morrill M. Crowe stated, “As Chairman of the 1963 Cancer Crusade in Virginia, and in behalf of the Board of Directors of the Virginia Division of the American Cancer Society, 1 wish to* congratulate you and your co-workers in Rappahannock County upon being the first Unit in Virginia to exceed the 1963 Fair Share Goal.
