Special Meeting
The Women of the Auxiliary to the Washington Volunteer Fire Company and members of the Rappahannock Rescue Squad will hold a joint meeting Monday, June 3, and will ' be joined by members of the Washington Volunteer Fire Company at the Fire Hall at 7:30 p.m. DST. This/ joint meeting is for the purpose of making further plans for the Firemen’s Carnival to be held in Washington June -26, 27i 28 and 29th. It is strongly urged by Fire Chief Wharton that all townspeople who can possibly do so attend this meeting and give cooperating in making the Carn« ival a success. He has stated that special attractions will be offered every night of the Carnival, in addition to the parade on Friday, June 28th and that help is urgently need ed.
