Hold Annual Dinner
Rural Letters Carriers from Orange, Rappahannock, Madison and. Culpeper met May 25 at the Warren Restaurant near Culpeper for their annual supper meeting. Max H. Jordan, president of the National Association of Carriers, addressed the group and a talk was made by H. E. Fenwick, president of the Virginia Association. Rev. BjGayle Titchenell gave the invocation. Association officers elecj ted for the coming year were president, Rufus Norris, Culpeper; vice-president, Henry Ritzhugh, Orange; and secretary -treasurer,Charlie Compton, Amissville. Delegates elected to attend the state convention to be held in Norfolk July 11, 12 and 13 were Henry Fitzhugh, Rufus Norris, Charlie Compton, Tom Willoughby, Rapidan, Jerry Schwerkert, Orange, Edward Brown, Sperryville and E. L. Weakley, Madison. Alternates are C. B. Palmer, Washington and Stonewall Kilby, Boston.
