area will be at Marshall In June. It is hoped that all donors who were unable to give blood in Warrenton will do so at Marshall. The*efforts of countless volunteers in the centers of Catlett, Remington, Marshall, The Plains, Upperville, Vint Hill Far ms, Warrenton and Washington; Virginia, have more than doubled in the last two years the amount of blood given. Every effort is being made to try to reach the quota necessary to meet tl\e needs of the people in Fauquier and Rappahannock Counties and assure the continuance of the Red Cross program.
Culpeper Hospital Hits 107% Occupancy -
Culpeper'Memorial Hospital had an occupancy of 107% last week-end. Forty-three patients and seven babies were cared for yesterday at the hospital. John Phillips, administrator, explained that the occupancy had been running at it's usual rate for the month of May until Sunday, May 19th. On that day and everyday since the patient census has continued to climb until May 23, when six children were admitted to have tonsils removed. These children had been scheduled well in advance by Dr. W. I. Wallenborn, Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist, from Charlottesville, who is on the Culpeper Hospital staff.
