Request New Bills
The Virginia Department of Agriculture’s Division of Regulatory Services will request enactment of two new bills and revision, of another during the coming session of the General Assembly, v One of the new bills, the Hazardous Substances Labeling Act, would provide authorl ty to require cautionary labelings of hazardous substances designed for household use. This labeling law is similar to a Federal law which exempts drugs, cosmetics and properly registered economic poisons. Such items.are included in existing Virginia laws.
