Plans Meeting
Angus breeders, both young and old, from throughout Virginia will gather in Charlottesville on January 17 and 18 for the Annual Meeting of the Virginia Angus Associatioa Starting off the week-end of activities will be the annual “Bull Session" at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17th, James V. Coyner* eastern representative of the American Angus Association will moderate the sessidfn which has as its theme “Spokes of the-A n.gu s Business," Speaking and serving on the panel for audience participation will be Curtis Mast, V. P. I., Blacksburg, Va.; Ken Gross, Staunton, Va.; C. E. Johnson, Jr.. Sperryville Va.; George Litton, V. P. I, Blacksburg, Va.; and Roland Mullinix, Woodbine, Maryland. The Ladies Auxiliary of the Virginia Angus Association will hold their Annual Meeting at 8:00 p.m. on January 17th. The Virginia Junior Angus Association will convene at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday January 18th for their Annual meeting and election of officers for the coming year. Promptly at 10:00 a.m., President J.Carlton Clore will call to order the thirtieth Annual Meeting of the Virginia Angus Association.
The Annual Banquet will be held at 12:30 p.m. with entertainment" provided by Miss Fay Lyste#-, a modern dance artist, and the Virginia Gentle, men, a vocal group from the University of Virginia.
Principal speaker for the afternoon session will be Mr. Glen S. Bratcher, Secretary of the American Angus Association, St. Joseph, Missouri.
