Following the ceremony a reception was held in the social hall of the church. Mrs. W. H. Kephart of Herndon served the wedding cake. Mrs. James Powell of Herndon presided at the punch bowl and Mrs. William L. Payne, Amissville, served coffee. All are aunts of the bride. For traveling, the bride wore a royal blue wool jacket dress, a small fur hat and the roses from her bridal bouquet. After a short trip Sgt. and Mrs. Streagle will make their home in Hubert, North Carolina.
