barney Keester pauze , son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pauze’, Woodville. Virginia was formally initiated into the Beta Theta Chapter of Eta Sigma Phi, the national honorary classical fraternity, on Thursday, April 9, 1964, in the home of Dr. Graves Haydon Thompson, Professor of Latin and greek at Hampden-Sydney College. This is an honorary fraternity for upper classmen in col reges throughout the nation who are geninuely interested and proficient in the classical studies. Admission to Eta Sigma Phi is based* on the students overall scholastic work and college participation in extracurricular activities, plus a required 90 average or above in Greek or Latin languages. Me* rill, attended a dinner meeting of the Ford Dealer’s Accountants Thursday night held at Holiday Ini^Fredericksburg At this time Mrs. Bailey was presented with a certificate award and a gold pen in recognition of excellence in accounting performance for 1963. Mrs. Bailey's three children also accompanied her and had dinner at Holiday Inn.
