Danny and David Hitt were weekend visitors of their grandparents, Mr. and TMrs. C. A. Smith. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Rowzie were Miss Carol Rowzie and Harry Tatum of Front Royal, Mrs. Carol Hopkins and Homer Rowzie of Vienna and Dr. J. R. Bolderidge. Mr. and Mrs. George Musser and family of Springfield were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Kidwell. Mrs. Burrell Luttrell and daughters Lisa and Judy Ann of Scotch Plains, N. J. are spending this week with L. H. Luttrell and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Dennis. Mr. Luttrell will join them Friday for the weekend and they will return home Sunday. L. H. Luttrell was a visitor Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Luttrell in Culpeper. Mr. Russell Luttrell is recovering from a fall. C. M. Clem was a dinner guest Sunday of Mr, and Mrs. G. E. Doyle. Mrs. Florence Myers of Mattoon, 111. was a guest from Thursday until Sunday of Mr. and^Mrs. Stanish Riley. During her^stay here they visited Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Latham, Mrs. George Hackley, Capt. and Mrs. L. B. Stuart, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Walter, Culpepe^ Mr. and Mrs. Byrne Walter, Warrenton, and Mrs. Julia Curtis, Front Royal. Mrs. Myers is a decendent of the Amiss family and was interest ed in the family history available in this community. Mrs. Myers went on to Washington as a delegate to the D. A. R. Convention. Miss Jacqueline Marlow and Ewing Bittner of Washington, D. C. were Saturday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Stanish Riley. Attending the Sue Slaughter Missionary meeting last Thursday in Culpeper were Mrs. Charlie Priest, Mrs. A. C. Latham, Mrs. John Hodge, Mrs. J. L. Walter, Mrs. C. A. Smith, Mrs. F. L. Bowey and Mrs. Norvel James Mrs. A. C. Latham was a visitor Monday of Mrs. Juliett Greer at the Virginia Baptist Home, Culpeper. She was accompanied by Mrs. J. L. Mrs. Sarah Latham and daughter Susan were luncheon guests Sunday of Miss Louise Anderson in Culpeper. Mrs. Ethel Cooksey and Mrs. Annie Latham had as dinner guests Tuesday evening the Rev. and Mrs. John Hodge and family and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Jenkins.
