Dinner guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Lester L. Yates were Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Daily Mrs. W. B. Barr, Mr. and Mrs. Osil Carpenter of Madison, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Brubaker of Luray, Mrs. J. H. Daily and Gloria Durden. Mrs. J. H. Daily will leave on Thursday for Strasburg where she will be the guest until Sunday of Elder and Mrs. Philip Johnson and family. S/Sgt. and Mrs. Jimmy SwindJ ler and family of Manassas and S/Sgt. Bill Freeman of Ft. Bel voir were luncheon guests on S u n d a y of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Swindler. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Devers had as their week-end guests Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Devers and two children of Front Royal. Miss Harriet Goode was a supper guest Saturday of Miss Gloria Durden. Buddy Aylor of Arlington was ,a week-end visitor in the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor. Miss Carolyn Brown of Washington, D. C. was a week-end guest of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brown. Philip Hawkins was the guest of his sister Miss Judy Hawkins in Washington, D. C. and attended the baseball game on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Henry M. Keyser of Washington were dinner and bridge guests Friday of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Wood. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Peyton Jr. of Falls Church were here for a week-end visit with Mrs, Peyton’s parents Mr. and Mrs Lester Dodson. Recent luncheon guests of Mrs. B. M. Varner were her sister Mrs. Maurice Manuel and son Chris Manuel of Browntown. ' David Anderson, Jr. and Bill Anderson were guests of relative for the week-end in W.Va. Miss Susan Schaefer, accompanied by Miss Kaye Johnston of Washington spent the weekend in Blacksburg and attended the Spring Dances at VPL ^
