The Red Cross Blood Bank Unit will be at the Trinity Episcopal Church Parish Hall Washington, Va. Monday, April 27, from 10:00 A. M. until 4:00 P.M. In addition to the importance of filling our quota for continued participation in the Blood Bank Program, Rappahannock has been requested to supply 25 pints of O-Positive type blood for use in an open heart operation. Surgery will be performed that afternoon at Walter Reed Hospital on the wife of a Rappahannock Serviceman. Donors of this type blood are urged to be at the Parish Hall to give before 12 noon. Blood is life and health. Its provision is a community responsibility that is being met daily through Red Cross assistance. Remember this important date, Monday, April 27, and report to the Blood Bank and contribute toward the success of this vital program.
