The spring 4-H County Council meeting will be held after school this Friday, April 24 at Washington Elementary School. All officers of Rappahannock 4-lJ clubs are members of the council. Arrangements for transportation home after the meeting have been made. Several summer activities, including the 4-H picnic and

The spring 4-H lamb show and sales will be held this year in Winchester on May 18 and June 15 at the Farmers Livestock Exchange. Netus Dodson, Mac Dodson, Billy Payne and Ronald Morris have 4-H sheep flocks and may exhibit at these shows. Lambs should weigh 90 to 100 pounds and be well fleshed to be entered. The big 4-H fuft show will be held at Washington Elementary School on Friday, May 22. This is the share-thefun program. Boys and girls from the 12 clubs are already rehearsing acts for the entertainment. Last year a good variety of acts, which included singing, dancing, skits, puppets and musical instrumentals, was presented before a large group of spectators. Prospects for the upcoming show look equally as good.
