A Rummage Sale will be held in the old Bank Building, Flint Hill Saturday, May 9 fkom 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., by the Home Demonstration Club of Flint Hill. This Sale will be for the benefit of the Student Loan Fund. -

Summer Courses
The Madison Center of the University of Virginia’s School of General Studies will offer Its second College Preparatory program for college-bound June graduates du* lng the coming summer. The . program will consist of three courses: College Preparatory Mathematics College Preparatory English 'i and Reading Improvement The courses will run from June 22 until July 30. The mathematics and English courses are advanced courses that are designed to acquaint the college-bound stu dent with the content, pace, and procedure of the college classroom. The reading course is designed to teach each student to become a more effective reader so that he may njore easily handle the heavy reading load of a college student.
The courses will be taught j* by- faculty members of the * University of Virginia and of Mary Washington College. Each course will be limited In size so that each student , may benefit individually from the experience and knowledge of a college faculty member. Interested students should ap-. p ply early so .that a place may be reserved. Tuition for each course will be $30.00 exclusive of text , books.
