Most such farmers who planted within, or very near to, their 1964 allotments gain several advantages by participating in the new program, H. S. Barksdale, Chairman of the R appahannock County ASCS Committee said yesterday.
“I believe farmers will find many attractive features in this wheat program that merit their careful consideration," Mr. Barksdale said. “This is particularly true where they’ve complied, or nearly complied, with the 1964 wheat allotments we sent them last May. All they have to do now is to drop by the ASCS office. If they have planted within the allotment, or adjusted to that allotment, they can participate in die new program “in several ways.
