Mrs. Alice Dorsey

Mr. and Mrs, William Falk of Laurens, N. Y. are visiting their nephew Lt. Col. Norman Wilbur, Mrs. Wilbur and family for several days. They are enroute home from Florida. Mr. and Mrs. George Baber, Sr. of Annandale were Sunday guests of the Wilburs. Mrs. R, W. Quaintance and MisS Elsie Ramsey accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Milford Reed of Culpeper on Sunday visiting Mrs. Qualntance’s relatives in Waynesboro and Nelson County. Joe White is at home with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Carter White. He graduated April 11 from Nashville, Tenn. Diesel College. Mrs. Iris Brooke left Saturday morning for Jacksonville, Florida to spend several weeks with her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. George Baber, Jr. The Rev. W. B. Dennis, who has been in Woodstock Hospital for surgery returned home with his daughter Mrs. R. W. Payne of Culpeper on Monday. He will remain with her until he regains his strength. All his Slate Mills friends are glad to bear of his Improvement. Sunday evening services are now being held at Slate Mills and Novum Baptist Churches at 8 p.m. The 2nd and 4th Sunday are at Novum, the 3rd Sunday at Slate Mills. All are welcome. >
