Those attending were Mrs. Iris Brook of Slate Mills, Mrs. Cary Thornhill and granddaughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hawkins, Mrs. George^Butler, Mrs. Tom Thornhill and daughter, Mrs. Freddie Butler and daughter, Mrs. Wallace Weaver and Mrs. J. B. Burke.
Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thornhill and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Thornhill were Mrs. James Hamilton, daughter Linda and son Randy and. Miss Peggy Burke of Silver Spring, Md.; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Thornhill and daughter Venie of Culpeper; Ronny Burke of Boston; Mr. and Mrs. William Morian of Washington, D. C. The Morians are remaining with the Thornhills for the week. Mrs. Claude Sparks underwent surgery April 30 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. She is reported to be doing satisfactorily at this time.
Marshall Dwyer of the University of Richmond will spend Thursday with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dwyer. Mrs. Janie Aylor of Novum is spending this week at the Dwyers. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wink1ler and daughter Kathy spent Sunday with Mrs. Robert Hawkins in Washington, D. C.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Burgess of Richmond were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson.
Mrs. Sam Barber and daughter Mrs. A. R. Armstrong of Williamsburg are expected to arrive at Mrs. Barber’s home this week. Mrs. Barber has been spending several months with Mrs. Armstrong and family. f—r
