Activities Friday
The annual May Day - Health Day Program will be held at Sperryville Elementary School on Friday, May 8 at 1:15 p.m. The theme is “I Wish You Were Here” Special numbers include; Frosty the Snow Man, The Penguins, The Kangaroos, dances, songs and A Tribute to Rappahannock County. The public is cordially invited to the program. 1
Cancer Crusade Drive

Mrs. Frank Cary and Mrs, James Smith, co-Chairmen for the American Cancer So ciety Fund Drive report that although final reports are not in the proceeds from the Drive to date total $1,162.44. By districts they are as follows: Hampton, $165.40; Jack son, $201.04; Piedmont, $266.; Stonewall, $192.10; Wakefield, $167.15; Hawthorne,$67.75; Special Gifts, $103.00 Mrs. W. L. Payne serves as Treasurer for the Rappahan nock Branch of the Society. The above chairmen wish to express their appreciation to all contributors, District chairmen and canvassers for their efforts in this program.
