Flint Hill Newt

I Charlie Smith xeturaed Sunday from the University of Virginia Hospital after being created there for pneumonia. He was accompanied home by his cousin Paul Smith of the University of Virginia. Mr. and Mrs. Fr- W. Spalding, Jr. of Morristown, N. J. were the week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank W. Spalding.

Louis Miller of Madison Heights spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller. Mrs. Carson Lillard returned home Sunday from the Warren Memorial Hospital. Mrs. c. P*. Amory of Newport News and Mr. and Mrs. James F. Amory of Bern, Switzerland were week-end guests of Mrs. James M. Settle, Additional Sunday dinner guests were'Mlss Kate Walker of Washington, Mrs. Warren Frank of Luray with her daughter, Lt. Col. Leta Frank of Arlington and George W. Settle of Powhatan. Tuesday supper guests of Capt. and Mrs. J. P. Cook were Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Walker and family of Falls Church. Dr. and Mrs. Edwin Eastham and family of Front Royal and Miss Virginia Yates Bradford were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Edwin M. Eastham.

Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Dodson and family of Staunton were guests last week-end of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Gentry and Mrs. Jack Dodson. Guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Foster were Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Hawk and daughter of Rockville, Md, Mr. and Mrs. Foley Butler of Bealeton and Mr. and Mrs. Eddie North and family of Amlssville. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Palmore of Richmond were week-end guests of Mrs. Palmore's Brother-in-law and s is ter, Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning. Edgar (Butch) Browning was a Sunday over-night guest of his parents, returning to the U. of Virginia on Monday morn -—
