remain open through September 6, 1964. So far the ponds with the 14 inch limit have produced larger bluegill, though less in total pounds, and a much greai er total weight of bass. The no limit ponds contain large numbers of medium sized bluegills and small bass as a result of the intense angling pressure which removes the bass as soon as they reach attractive size. Over 50 percent of the bluegills taken last year from the limit ponds were 7" or larger and, of course, all bass removed were 14 inches or better. Anglers had a ball catching and releasing 383 bass ranging from 9-13 inches in these ponds last summer. Only 27 percent of the bluegills were 7* or over in the no limit ponds while the bulk of the bass creeled were between 7 and 9 inches in length.
