Single Car Crash

Demolishes Vehicle

On Friday, May 1 at approximately 2:10 p. m. on route 211, one mile east of Amissville, a 1956 Chevrolet, owned and operated by Ned Richard Stringfellow of Amissville was a total damage loss, according to Trooper Buntin. Stringfellow apparently lost control of his car while in the process of passing a second car, struck back on right hand side of road and turned over. Oscar Garrison of Amiss‘ville, a passenger, was taken to Fauquier County Hospital by the Castleton Rescue Squad and admitted with back injuries and broken ribs. Stringfellow is an out-patient at the same hospital receiving treatment for back and leg injury. He was charged with reckless driving.
