Flint Hill Auxiliary Elect* Officers

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Flint Hill Fire Company met at the Fire Hall Monday, May 4 and elected the following officers: President, Mrs. Roland Welch; Vice-President, Mrs. W. A. Gentry; 2nd Vice-President, Mrs. Moffett Pullen; Secretary-Treasurer, Mrs. Carroll Kidwell. Mrs. Mary Krause will be ex-officio member* as outgoing president.

The Auxiliary members presented Mrs. Frank Cary with a silver casserole as a farewell gift as she is moving from the community soon. Plans for recruiting new membersggwere discussed and the new officers started making plans for the Carnival. Those present were Mrs. E. C. Russell, Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Mrs. Clyde Lillard, Mrs. Welch, Mrs. Kidwell, Mrs. Edward Welch, Mrs. Krause, Mrs. Charles Foster, Mrs. Cary and Mrs. Gentry.

Tours Methodist Homes

Members of the Womans Society of Christian Service oi Amissville Methodist Church were in Richmond Wednesday where they visited Hermitage Home for the aged and the Childrens Home. Both homes are supported by the Methodist churches. This tour was made in place of the regular May meeting of this group.
