John G. Russell, III of Flint Hill received an associate degree in science on May 24, 1964 at the eighty-ninth commencement of Shenandoah College and Shenandoah Conservatory of Music, Winchester, Va.

While at this junior college, he was a member of the concert choir, YMCA, secretary and treasurer of the student government.

In September he will enter the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond as a sophomore student in the School of Pharmacy. He is the son of Mrs. Thelma Russell, Flint Hill and a 1962 graduate of Rappahannock County High School.
