Frank Settle

Frank Settle of Washington, Va., died Monday, May 25, 1964 in Fpuquier Hospital at Warrenton. Son of the late Middleton Settle and Mary Jane Wharton, his wife, and a native of Rappahannock Coun ty, he was 61. He is survived by one son, Bernard Franklin Settle of Washington, Va.; two brothers Walter Settle of Front Royal and Luther Settle of Orlean; and three sisters, Mrs. Laura Scroggins, Mrs. Jessie Fincharmand Mrs. Lillie Mae Scroggins, all of Washington, Va. A funeral service was held Wednesday, May 27, at the graveside in Washington Masonic Cemetery, the Rev. Arnold Sorrells conducting the last rites. Arrangements were handled by Geest Funeral Parlors.

At Home To Callers June 18

Miss Mary Norman Davis will complete the school term as teacher of the sixth grade at the John Russell School at Quantico Marine Corps basq Quantico, Va. next Wednesday. She will return to her home here to prepare for her marri age on June 20 to the Rev. Park Dickerson. On June 18 Miss Davis will be at home to receive friends and neighbors between 2 and 5 p. m. Her wedding gifts will be on display. No written invitations will be issued but anyone wishing to call on Thursday, June 18 is cordially invited.
