Michael Massie has been made mascot of Boy Scout Troop #64, Washington, according to T. Carlyle Lea, Jr. Scoutmaster. Mike will wear the patches and neckerchief of the Troop and will assume the position officially at the June 9th meeting of the troop which will be held at 7;30 p.m. in the Washington Baptist Church. Mike was chosen as mascot because of his great enthusiasm for scouting ideals and principles. He wiU con_ tinue as mascot until h e reached the age of 11 at which time he will become as scout. He is the eight-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Wade H. Massie III, Hampden Hall, Washington.
Mr*, (.indgren Enters Horse in Shows
Mrs. Oscar Lindgren of Jessamine Hill, Washington, will enter her horse Hasso in the Blue Ridge Hunt Horse Show in Millwood on June 6 and also will show at Upperville on both the 12th and 14th. Hasso is an eleven year old German bred gelding. Mrs. Lindgren is expected to ride in the under saddle classes and David Evans will be up in all working hunter classes.
