A former pastor of the then Rappahannock Charge of the Methodist Church in this area, the Reverend Harrel G. Thach has recently published his first literary effort, "Go^ gets^jhftJSfay j^g Sailor* an autobiography. Mr.ThacB7 now pastor of the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church in Roanoke, Virginia has been working on this volume for a number of years and has now seen fit to offer it to the public. The author wrote the book with the belief that it would be of help to disturbed persons and also be of help to those who are desirous themselves of being of help to the mentally disturbed. Prepublication reviews of the book are highly complimentary and it is expected that many of Mr. Thach’s former parishoners of 19531955 will be Interested in obisinlng a copy for themselves.
