Around The County
I have received a letter from Mrs. Stanley Williams in Chester Gap stating that possibly some of the ladies of Chester Gap would be interested in organizing a home demonstration club. This is good news to any home agent’s ears. If any of you Chester Gap ladies haven’t talked to Mrs. Williams about it, let her hear from you. Any Chester Gap ladies are invited to belong to the club, if one is started. I hope to visit Mrs. Williams this week and start the wheels turning. Coming up next week are two more home demonstration meetings. The Castleton Home Demonstration Club will meet with Mrs. John T. Woodward, Sr. at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9th. The demonstration for the month will be “Making Your Ironing Day Brighter". Let’s make every effort to attend. The Woodville Home Demonstration Club will meet on Thursday, June 11, at 2:00 p.m. with Mrs. C. B. Johnson. They too, will have the ironing program.
