Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown Jr. and family of Staunton were the week-end guests of Mr. Brown’s parents at Rock Villa. Miss Sue and Miss Margaret Brown stayed on for a week’s visit with their grandparents. Additional Sunday dinner guests of the Brown’s were Mr. and Mrs. P. Lee Thornton and Jock Brown of Woodville. Miss Joan Aylor of Washington, D. C., Buddy Aylor and Miss Lois Eggers of Arlington were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor. Saturday visitors In the Aylor home were E. B. Cary of Washington and his house guests Mr. and Mrs. James Crane of Hyattsville, Md. Ralph Strawn and Ernest Pappas of Warrenton were Monday guests of the H. H. Aylor s. Both Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Johnson have been 111 recently but are reported to be improving.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Pillar returned last Thursday from a week’s visit with Mrs. Pillar’s mother Mrs. Thomas P. Morrow In Norfolk. On May 23 they attended the JohnsonSadler wedding at Virginia Beach and also enjoyed a fishing trip at Duck Island, N. C. E n r o u t e home they were dinner guests of their daughter Mrs. W. W. Cloe, Jr. In Stafford. Mr. and Mrs. Colton Montague of Philadelphia were the Memorial Day weekend guests of Mr. Montague’s brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Montague.
