A demonstration on the details of Virginia’s new Commercial Beef Cattle Improvement program will be conducted at 10:00 a. m. (Standard Time) on Wednesday, September 23rd at the D. D. Miller and Son farm near Washington.
Ike Eller, Secretary of the I Virginia BCIA - will explain , the details of the commercial program to include: what the cattleman has to do, what BCIA provides and the cost. Also he will demonstrate and discuss grading and grade scores.

Plan Fall Festival
Sperryville Revelettes,a majorette group, will sponsor a Fall Festival to be held on the carnival grounds in Sperryville on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 17,18and 19. At the festival there will be rides, games, prizes, food and amusement for everyone. Prizes include five silver dollars which will be given away Thursday night; a 19 inch portable television, steam iron, old Virginia ham, table lamp and nylon blanket alk> of which will be awarded on Saturday night at the close of festivities. The public is invited to attend and enjoy three nights of fun and entertainment.
