Eppa Hunton Wince

: Eppa Hunton Wince of Orlean idled September 9, 1964 in • Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton : He is survived by his wife iMrs. Virgie Grim6ley Wince ■of the home address; three ■daughters, Mrs. Gertrude . Schmidt of Barstow, Calif., Mrs. Helen Bragg and Mrs. : Lena Medved, both of Orlean; two sons, James of Long Island, N. Y. and Howard of Orlean; and 13 grandchildren.

Also surviving are six sisters, Mrs. Luther Barron of Orlean, Mrs. Vance Butler, Warrenton, Mrs. Herbert Foster, Flint Hill, Mrs. Elsie Howell, Rileyville, Mrs. Ella : Clarke of Franconia and*Mrs. : Bessie Spinks of Silver Spring Md.; two brothers, Robert of Orlean and Ashby of Warrenton.

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13 from the Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton. Interment was at the home place at Orlean. The Rev, C. D. Stevens officiated.

Luther Melvin Whorton of Amissville died Friday, September 11, 1964, at his residence, following a sudden illness. He was 65, a native of ■Rappahannock County, son of •the late John Edward and Margaret Martin Whorton. ; He is survived by one brother Ray Whorton, of Florida and -a number of nieces and ^nephews. \ A funeral service was held Sunday at Massenova Pentecostal Church, of which he was a member with the Rev. [James Pittman conducting the Service. Interment was in the family cemetery near Laurel Mills. * Pallbearers were Levi Al?ther, Laymon Horton, Jack “Compton, Brown Compton, Ashby Jenkins, John Compton, Jim Foster and James '"Foster. >.— .
