James E. Cason
James Ellis Cason of Huntly died Saturday, September 12, 1964, in Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D. C. at the age of 45. He had been an employee of the American Viscose Division for the past 19 years. He was born in Greene County, a son of Mrs. Lena Roberts Cason and the late Ben E. Cason. He was a veteran of World War II. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Charlotte Viola Cason; four brothers, Percy and George of Madison, Ben of Rogers Heights, Md., and Melvin of Ruckersville; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Hawkins of Rogers Heights, Mrs. Doris Dwyer of Riverdale, Md., and Mrs. Ann Roach of Ruckersville. A funeral service was held Monday at Willis Chapel Metho diet Church conducted by the Rev. James B. Grimmer with interment in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Aubrey North, Dennis Williams, Bowser Williams, Bradley Williams, Dewey Ritenour and Edward Fox. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Edwin M. Eastham, William Cameron, Owen Sealock, Charles Mills, Robert Hickerson, Paul Cunningham, Jame6 Dennison and John Scott.
Family Reunion
The Jenkins Reunion, with members of the family of the late George B. Jenkins, was held Sunday, Sept. 13 at the V. F. W. Hall in Culpeper with approximately 175 people in attendance.
