B. R. Cox returned home Tuesday from a visit of several weeks with his sisters in Hillsboro, Illinois. Mrs. Thomas Howie of Staunton was a weekend guest of her son-in-law and daughter. Judge and Mrs. T. C. Lea and family. Mrs. Howie and Mrs. Lea were shoppers Saturday, at Seven Corners. Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Baumgardner and family, Mr. Baumgardner’s mother, Mrs. Ruth Baumgardner and her nephew of Annandale spent the weekend at their home in Harris Hollow. .Alvedis and Charles Reid, accompanied hy their father, Joseph B. Reid returned to their home in Arlington Sunday Mtter visiting Mrs. C. G. Reid for several weeks. Miss Carolyn Brock was a weekend visitors of friends in Newport, R. I. Visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Johnston on Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Pemberton of Richmond. The Pemberton’s daughter, Joan is a roommate of Kaye Johnston at Madison College this year. Mrs. T. C. Lea, Jr. and two children were overnight guests Monday of Mr. and Mrs John Cargill in Richmond. Miss Annie Cooksey was the Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Latham on the Richmond Road. The Right Reverend Robert F. Gibson, Jr., Bishop of the Diocese of Virginia was the Saturday overnight and Sunday luncheon guest of the Rev. and Mrs. Charles F. Glaenzer at the Rectory. Mrs. Thomas B. Massie returned home on Saturday from the Warren Memorial Hospital after undergoing an appendectomy last week. Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr. was a supper guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. James Massie. Robert Brock is attending classes at Madison Extension of the University of Virginia. ' Mr. and Mrs. E. M.
