Hencil Dodson was host- j ess to a large delegation of 1 children as well as grownups Sunday afternoon when she entertained with a party for her youngest daughter, Vickie who celebrated her 9th birthday anniversary. Among adults present during the after ' noon were Mrs. James F» Smith, Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman, Mrs. Roy Atkins and members of the family from Front Royal. The hostess served refreshments and the chiF dren enjoyed outside games. Mrs. J. Harvey Daily attended the annual Union Meeting over the weekend held at the Primitive Baptist Church at Battle Run and was an overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. James Pearson in Warrenton Mrs. Jennie Armentrout was the guest Friday of Mrs. Daily Mrs. Perle Coffey had as her dinner guest on Sunday James Nelson Rector of Richmond. Sunday afternoon callers were Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Rector, daughters Misses Rebecca and Raye Rector and Abe Burke of Flint Hill.
